Baidu VP Denies Resignation Rumors

According to an industry insider, Wang Mengqiu, VP of Products and Technology for Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU), left her position at Baidu at the end of 2012 to form a new company.

A Baidu spokesperson has since denied rumors of Wang's resignation. Wang has taken to her personal microblogging account to deny the rumors of her resignation, stating, "I've returned, the rumors can stop now!"

Wang joined Baidu in 2002 and has served in various capacities at the company, including GM of Baidu's Portal Search Department, Director of Technology, Senior Technology Director, and VP of Technology.
