Home Linens E-tailer Dapu Lands USD 3 Mln Angel Funding

An industry insider reported today that Dapu, a home furnishing B2C site launched by Wang Zhiquan, the founder and former CEO of Chinese home appliance and consumer electronics retailer Gome's (0493.HK) B2C platform Coo8, has received USD 3 mln from an angel investor. When contacted, Wang confirmed that the site had received USD 3 mln in angel investment, but said that the deal had not yet been finalized, and that Dapu is still in talks with the investor, whom he declined to identify.
