China Telecom's Mobile Gaming User Base Reaches 100 Mln

Wang Zhun, deputy director of the product operations center at China Telecom's (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) gaming base, revealed on January 8 that the operator's mobile gaming portal E-Game ("Ai Youxi") surpassed 100 mln registered users in 2012, with more than 30 mln monthly active users.

In 2013, Wang said, E-Game will offer a set of development tools for game developers to choose from. China Telecom currently supports third-party payment services and SMS-based payment for games.
