China to Complete Internet Access Real-Name Registration by June 2014

The General Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China issued a memorandum today regarding implementation of the "State Council Plan for Organizational Reform and Functional Transitions." The 13th directive on the list calls for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), State Internet Information Office (SIIO), and Ministry of Public Security to finish developing real-name internet registration systems by the end of June 2014.
