TMall to Track E-Commerce Service Provider Stores

Ebrun, 5/29/13

Alibaba Group's B2C e-commerce site TMall recently revised a portion of the site's regulations to require that e-commerce service providers on the site report all stores they operate to TMall using the site's new reporting process by June 20. Information required from store operators includes stores under operation, billing models, details of service provided, and scans of their operation contracts.

As a part of the new regulations announcement, TMall reminded service providers that they will be subject to point-deduction penalties in the event that they fail to report contract services to the platform, and will be blocked from using TMall service channels for two months. Service providers who fail to report contracts to TMall for six months or longer will be barred from offering TMall services.
