Baidu Promotes SEM Business in Spain

On June 18, Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) held an event at Madrid's city hall to promote its search engine marketing (SEM) products as part of a bid to expand the company's operations in Spain. A Spanish online marketing organization will be responsible for promoting Baidu's online advertising services in Spain.
Baidu's event chiefly targeted Spanish companies hoping to move into the Chinese market or to attract Chinese tourists.
