Youku Tudou Launches UGC "Sharing Plan"

Chinese online video site operator Youku Tudou (NYSE: YOKU) has officially launched a "Sharing Plan" ("Fengxiang Jihua") that will support independent creators of original user-generated content (UGC) by providing them with funding and other resources, as well as featured spots on the company's online video platform.

UGC partners will have access to a detailed analytics platform to help them boost their views and followers. According to one of the early adopters of the Sharing Plan, the user's videos have quickly reached 60 mln views for approximately 300 uploaded videos.
