MIIT Announces Jan-May 2013 IT Industry Investment Statistics

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released statistics on fixed asset investments in the national IT industry for the first five months of 2013, with total completed investment on IT projects valued at RMB 358.1 bln, up 8.7% YoY. Total completed investment in the month of May increased 8.5% YoY to RMB 100.4 bln, and new fixed assets purchased during the five-month period totaled RMB 167.4 bln, up 26.6% YoY.
