Baidu: Qihoo 360 Blocks Baidu Antivirus Installation

Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has issued a statement claiming that internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360's (NYSE: QIHU) 360 Safe Guard PC security software has begun flagging downloads of Baidu's Antivirus product as harmful to user PCs, causing a large number of aborted installations of the product. If users have not approved the installation of Baidu Antivirus after 30 seconds, 360 Safe Guard will automatically delete Baidu Antivirus from user PCs. Users are only able to install Baidu Antivirus without major difficulty after completely logging out of 360 Safe Guard.
