Sohu Video Earns RMB 200 Mln in 'Voice of China' Ad Revenue

Chinese internet firm Sohu's (Nasdaq: SOHU) online video business, Sohu Video, announced yesterday that the second season of singing competition TV show "The Voice of China" has received more than 2 bln cumulative views on Sohu Video, and that advertising revenue from the show now totals RMB 200 mln. The show has received more than 700 mln views on Sohu Video through mobile devices, at one point accounting for a peak of 50% of total views - with a single episode receiving more than 50 mln mobile views.
