Rumor: Chukong Files for US IPO

According to an industry source, Beijing-based mobile game developer and operator Chukong Technology has submitted an IPO application to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, with details of the listing to be made public later this month. According to the source, the IPO is scheduled for May. Underwriters include Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and China Renaissance Partners.
Chukong has not officially responded to the rumors, but sources close to the company have confirmed that Chukong has previously announced internally that the company would submit its application to a US exchange in Q2 2014.
Another industry source has stated that Chinese game developers Locojoy Technology and Linekong are soon planning listings in Hong Kong. Locojoy and Linekong are the developers of mobile card RPG I'm MT Online and side-scrolling action mobile online game Excalibur, respectively.
