Giant Mobile, the mobile gaming subsidiary of Chinese online game developer Giant Interactive (NYSE: GA), confirmed today that the company has completed appointment of its mid-level management team, with all related departments in operation. The newly appointed managers include:
1. Li Gaowen, former product manager at Shanda Games (Nasdaq: GAME) responsible for mobile card RPG Million Arthur, has been appointed as director of Giant Mobile's Products Center, responsible for the operation of the company's self-developed and domestically licensed games;
2. Gao Wei, former manager at Muhe Network responsible for marketing of the company's mobile MMO card game Mystical Card (Moka Huanxiang), has been appointed director of Giant Mobile's Operations Center, responsible for the operation of licensed overseas games within China;
3. Du Fangfang, formerly the head of Giant's overseas business expansion, has been transferred to Giant Mobile as director of the company's Business Center.
Giant Mobile plans to publish 10 mobile games in 2014.
