Hunan TV & Broadcast H1 2014 Profit Down 15% YoY

Chinese TV program production and distribution firm Hunan TV & Broadcast Intermediary (000917.SZ) has announced its financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2014. H1 2014 revenue was RMB 2.54 bln, an increase of 4.8% YoY.

Net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 233.39 mln, down 14.9% YoY.

Revenue from advertising production and licensing was RMB 1.10 bln, up 28.3% YoY. Revenue from film and television program production and distribution was RMB 23.33 mln, down 13.1% YoY. Revenue from network transport services was RMB 1.13 bln, up 4.6% YoY.
