Tudou, Doov Release RMB 1,999 Video-focused Smartphone

Chinese online video site Tudou, operated by Youku Tudou (NYSE: YOKU), and Shenzhen-based mobile phone manufacturer Doov Technology have unveiled their mobile video-focused smartphone, the "Ni'ke" (pronounced with two syllables), carrying a price tag of RMB 1,999.

Pre-orders for the device are available through Beijing-based B2C e-commerce platform JD.com (Nasdaq: JD) and Doov's official website.

The device prominently features video and photo capabilities, including a rotatable camera.
