BlueFocus Invests USD 49 Mln in Big Data Companies

Beijing-based brand management solutions firm BlueFocus Communication Group (300058.SZ) has announced that its wholly-owned Hong Kong subsidiary will purchase 4.264 mln preferred shares of Beijing-based data solution provider Admaster as part of the company's Series C funding. Upon completion of the USD 24.375 mln transaction, Bluefocus will hold an 11.69% stake in Admaster.

Bluefocus will also invest USD 25 mln in Shanghai-based big data solutions provider Zamplus Technology as part of the company's Series C funding. The 312,500 preferred shares will amount to a 14.29% stake in Zamplus.

Both Admaster and Zamplus are primarily involved in big data marketing services.
