China's Internet Watchdog Closes 35 Illegal Dating Sites

CAC, 4/22/15

Thirty-five dating sites or matchmaking channels on websites have been shut down after an ongoing nationwide campaign by the Cyberspace Administration of China found them in serious violation or relevant regulations. The list of violations include not properly following government rules for user registration and record keeping, users providing false information, and the propagation of overly salacious romantic content.
