Rumor: Baidu Invests RMB 200 Mln in Online Classifieds Site Baixing

Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has invested RMB 200 mln in Shanghai-based Kiqiji Information Technology, operator of online classifieds site Baixing.com, according to recent reports from an industry source. No comments have been made by either company regarding this rumor. Kiqiji completed USD 100 mln Series D funding in January of this year, primarily using the funds to develop the company's business in second-hand vehicle transactions.
