Baidu Launches Baidu Mall E-commerce Platform

Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has launched its Baidu Mall B2C e-commerce platform, with the former placeholder site now fully live. The platform focuses on mid- to high-end products sold by third-party merchants, and sells apparel, foodstuffs, beauty products and various other goods. Both Chinese and foreign-made brands are available on the platform.

International brands such as Haagen-Dazs, Barbie, Minnetonka, Britax all have storefronts on the platform.
