Handset Launcher Developer 'Newborn Town' Wins RMB 9-digit Series D

Chinese Android launcher developer Newborn Town (Chizicheng) recently announced the completion of RMB 9-digit Series D funding in H1 2016. The company is using the new funds to support further product development and increased R&D investments for its contextualized big data platform.

Newborn Town's primary business is mobile advertising to customers who install Android-based handset management apps. The company's mobile management apps, such as Solo Launcher, Solo Locker, and Solo Search have been published globally in markets such as the United States, Russia, Brazil, India, and Indonesia, with the combined cumulative user base growing from 300 mln in January this year to 500 mln in June.
