Almond Doctor to Launch Marketing Service for Drug, Medical Equipment Firms
Iyiou, 10/24/16
Shanghai-based Aihaisi Information Technology, operator of medical SNS and record management app Almond Doctor ("Xingren Yisheng"), will develop a digital marketing service for pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies, according to an announcement from Aihaisi executive director Yao Jinxiu.
The service will allow pharmaceutical companies and medical device makers to survey doctors on the Almond Doctor platform, produce videos, and promote popular science articles. Almond Doctor has accumulated more than 416,000 verified doctors with enough big data information to support precision targeted marketing. Almond Doctor will also direct its offline sales force, which is already situated in 33 key cities across China, to conduct public relations services, such as brand marketing or hosting of academic conferences in cities where drug and device companies have yet to establish related businesses. Almond Doctor is not planning to engage in e-commerce, said Yao.
