MIIT: China's Mobile Subscriber Base Up 2.4 Mln in Jan-Feb 2024

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released its national telecom industry statistics for the period from January-February 2024, during which China's total number of mobile service subscribers increased by 2.41 mln to reach approximately 1.746 bln.

Note: In calculating the figures for change since the end of 2023, the MIIT used data from its December 2023 Monthly Telecom Statics Report. Starting from February 2024, the MIIT also began including China Broadnet's 5G mobile phone user and mobile Internet user figures in its industry statistics reports.
