Asus to Release Tablet, E-Reader Next Year

Yang Jianwen, China region product manager for Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Asus (LSE: ASKD; 2357.TW), revealed yesterday in Shanghai that Asus will release mobile terminals including a tablet PC and e-reader in Q1 2011. Content for the tablet will be available via an app store. Yang estimates that Asus saw netbook sales rise in China by 15%~20% this year.
