Topway Receives IDT, VoIP License in Shenzhen

Chinese cable TV operator Topway (002238.SZ) has announced that the company has received approval from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) to develop internet access, internet data transfer VAS (IDT VAS), and domestic IP telephone (VoIP) services based on in its cable television network in Shenzhen.
Topway began developing its internet access service in 2003 when it was awarded a value-added telecom service operating license from the Guangdong Communications Administration. Topway is already in compliance with requirements for IDT VAS and VoIP operation in Guangdong. Upon registering with the Guangdong Communications Administration the company will be able to clearly define the scope and content of its IDT VAS and VoIP services.
