At the first China Telecommunications Network Power-Saving Forum yesterday, Qian Hang of the Ministry of Information Industry (MII)'s Science and Technology Department indicated that the MII is currently working with communications operators to carry out a survey of power consumption reduction methods and also working on power-saving standards for the industry.
20th Century Fox, Disney, Paramount, Columbia and Universal are suing a Shanghai Internet cafe for showing thirteen of their films, including A Night at the Museum, XXX: State of the Union, Pirates of the Caribbean 2, Aeon Flux and Charlie's Angels 2, via installing VOD software from Beijing firm Jeboo.
