Huawei Symantec, a joint venture between Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei and security and anti-virus software maker Symantec, has announced that its high-end N8500 network access storage (NAS) product is being used by Chinese online B2C and C2C e-commerce company Taobao for a high capacity website data storage project.
China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued an announcement that it had submitted China's sui generis TD-LTE-Advanced technical specification to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and ensured that the technical specification will be considered as an international standard candidate for 4G communications.
