Wang Jianzhou, chairman of China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) and representative to the Chinese People's Political Consultative Committee (CPPCC), said in an interview yesterday as part of his participation in the National People's Congress (NPC) and CPPCC that China Mobile will begin large-scale testing of 4G technology in seven cities, adding that Beijing had joined the six cities named earlier as TD-LTE trial cities.
