Suning Begins Accepting iPhone 5 Pre-Orders

Chinese consumer electronics and home appliances retailer Suning (002024.SZ) yesterday announced that its Beijing retail locations have begun accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 5. Consumers can register for pre-order using their national ID card at Suning stores without a deposit. Suning expects to ship the smartphones in early December, but Apple has yet to announce a specific mainland launch date for the iPhone 5.
