Chinese internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) saw its share of China's online search market, both in terms of page views (PV) and unique visits (UV), increase to almost 10% during the month of October, according to Alibaba Group's third-party web analytics subsidiary CNZZ.
Beijing-based mobile new media platform technology and operating services provider Vivame Technology today announced it has completed a new round of funding, with internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) becoming a strategic investor, and Qihoo 360 CEO Zhou Hongyi becoming a board member.

Chinese television advertising company China Mass Media (PINK: CMMCY) has announced the completion of the previously announced 'Going Private' Merger Agreement dated August 6, 2012 (Merger Agreement) among the company, China Mass Media Holdings Limited (Parent), a Cayman Islands company beneficially owned by Wang Shengcheng, CMM Holdings Limited (Merger Sub), a company wholly owned by Parent, and Wang Shengcheng, pursuant to which Merger Sub will be merged with and into CMM with CMM surviving the merger as a wholly owned subsidiary of Parent.
