China Unicom iPhone 5 Pre-orders to Begin Late November

China Unicom's (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) iPhone 5 pre-order letter, which was recently leaked online by an industry insider, revealed that Unicom will officially begin accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 5 between November 20 and November 30, with the 16GB version retailing for approximately RMB 5,880.

The letter was sent by Wuxi Unicom to corporate clients and announces that pre-ordering for black and white versions of the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models will be open until December 31, 2012.

China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) announced on its official microblog that it will begin accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 5 on November 20.
