139Shop Starts Pre-Order of Aliyun Smartphone

Chinese e-commerce handset retailer 139Shop will begin presales for a batch of 100,000 units of its Little Pepper I2 Aliyun model smartphone on November 18, according to the company's official microblog account. The WCDMA/GSM dual-SIM dual-standby smartphone, priced at RMB 699, features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8225 dual-core 1.2GHz processor, Aliyun 2.0 OS, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, and a 5MP camera. 50,000 units of the China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) version of the handset will also be made available during the presale.
