Neusoft, Dalian Hi-Think Computer to Merge

Sina Tech, 2/17/09

Chinese software outsourcing firm Neusoft Corporation (600718.SH) has announced that it plans to merge with Dalian Hi-Think Computer Technology Corp (DHC), a provider of offshore software and outsourcing services focused on the Japanese market. After the merger, Neusoft will become an outsourcing enterprise of over 20,000 employees, closing the size gap with Indian outsourcing enterprises and improving its competitiveness when bidding for larger projects. The merger plan must still pass approval from relevant government departments.

With registered capital of RMB 150 mln, DHC was established in 1996, and employs approximately 5,000 people.
