Shandong Rural Consumer Electronics Sales Reach RMB 2 Bln

According to statistics provided by the Shandong Economic and Trade Committee, sales revenue generated by trials of a government-subsidized consumer electronics promotion for rural areas in the province had exceeded RMB 2 bln as of February 22, recording the highest revenue of all provinces participating in the trials. Shandong province's finance bureau has thus far provided subsidies worth RMB 192 mln, providing discounts to 991,600 rural households.
