Tianjin Mobile Launches TD-SCDMA Promotion

According to Tianjin Mobile's 10086 service hotline, 188-prefixed mobile numbers became available for reservation on February 26, and first became officially available as of March 1. Subscribers will have the option to purchase one of eight TD-SCDMA handset models for prices ranging from RMB 1,801 to RMB 4,988, and will receive a handset subsidy in the form of RMB 1,800 or RMB 3,000 worth of talk time. Users who prepay RMB 1,801 worth of talk time will receive a ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ) U680 handset and RMB 1800 in talk time. Users who sign up for a 1-year contract will receive 6 months of free talk time.
