China Unicom (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) issued a notice today saying that given the progress to date in its 3G commercial trials, the company has decided to expand 3G service trials to 44 cities in Shanxi, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Xinjiang to begin providing 3G trial services as of June 28.   Read More...
