Soso Switches to Tencent Search Engine

Chinese internet value-added service provider Tencent (0700.HK) confirmed today that its search engine product, Soso, is now using Tencent's own in-house search engine, which is still in the testing stage. Soso searches sent from some regions will still generate results pages displaying a notice that "the below results were provided by Google," as Soso still uses Google technology in some regions.
Asked when Tencent's partnership with Google would end, a Tencent spokesperson said they were unable to comment.
