MIIT: China 3G Subscribers Near 10 Mln

According to statistics from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), as of the end of October, China had 9.77 mln 3G subscribers, including 3.94 mln China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) TD-SCDMA subscribers. China's three telecommunications providers have completed total investment of RMB 102.3 bln in 3G so far this year, equivalent to 72.3% of the year's planned investment of RMB 143.5 bln.
