The Lenovo O1 and LG GW880 OPhones have been included in Beijing Mobile's recently released "7th Round GoTone Subscription Subsidy Plan," shedding new light on the subsidy program being offered by China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) for OPhone smartphones. Under the plan, customers who agree to spend at least RMB 208 per month can receive an OPhone for free.

Users must deposit RMB 3,210 in their China Mobile account and sign onto a 2-year agreement to spend at least RMB 208 per month to receive a free Lenovo O1. To receive a free LG GW880, users must deposit RMB 4,200 and spend at least RMB 280 per month for two years.

Users that purchase Lenovo O1 smartphones via retailers will receive a RMB 1,500 calling credit subsidy. However, a retail subsidy program has not been announced for the LG GW880.
