Rumor: Apple to Acquire Chengdu Game Firm

Apple has reportedly made significant progress towards acquiring Chengdu-based browser game developer Handseeing Information Technology, according to a source within Handseeing. Apple's representatives have already completed due diligence, and final price negotiations have begun. Apple's current bid is approximately USD 150 mln.
An Apple representative said the company was only sanctioned to discuss specific products and cannot comment on acquisitions. Handseeing president Gu Ke could not be reached by phone.
