The9: OpenFeint to Debut in China This Year

Shen Guoding, VP of Chinese online game operator and developer The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY), has revealed that The9 is localizing mobile SNS platform OpenFeint for the Chinese market and plans to release it domestically this year. To attract developers, The9 will soon spend up to RMB 10 mln on a promotional campaign to find top developers and games for the platform. Openfeint is a mobile social platform and application for smartphones developed by California-based mobile game developer and platform operator Aurora Feint.
