Rumor: Apple to Launch New iPad in China in Late July

Apple will reportedly launch the new iPad in its China retail locations and all of consumer electronics and home appliances retailer Suning's (002024.SZ) outlets on July 27, according to an industry source.

The new iPad has already been approved for consumer electronics and network access permits. Apple's settlement with Shenzhen-based display device manufacturer Proview Technology, a subsidiary of Proview International Holdings (0334.HK), will take effect on July 25, which makes a launch date soon after fairly credible.
