Besttone Holding Q3 2012 Profit Up 33% YoY

Online travel booking service provider Besttone Holding (600640.SH) (formerly known as China Satcom Guomai), a subsidiary of China Telecommunications Corporation, has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2012, with revenue up 14.1% YoY to RMB 451.60 mln.

Q3 2012 net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 43.76 mln, an increase of 33.1% YoY.

Besttone Holding changed its name from Satcom Guomai in July 2012. The company has shifted its primary business focus to travel bookings and hotel operations, and now serves as the exclusive operator for China Telecommunications Corporation subsidiary China Telecom's (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) Best Tone travel directory service.
