AsiaInfo-Linkage Q3 2012 Profit Down 70% YoY

Chinese telecom software solutions and IT security products and services provider AsiaInfo-Linkage (Nasdaq: ASIA) has announced its financial results for the three months ended September 30, 2012. Total revenues for the third quarter of 2012 were USD 132.2 mln, up10.8% YoY and 4.7% QoQ.

Net income for the period was USD 3.91 mln, a decrease of 69.2% YoY from USD 12.70 mln in Q3 2011.

Revenue from software products and solutions was USD 120.87 mln, an increase of 11.5% YoY from USD 108.43 mln a year before. Service revenues were USD 8.41 mln, down 3.4% YoY from USD 8.70 mln in Q3 2011. Revenue from third-party software was USD 2.94 mln, an increase of 35.5% YoY from USD 2.17 mln.
