China TransInfo Closes 'Going Private' Transaction

China TransInfo, 11/01/12

Beijing-based public transportation information systems provider China TransInfo Technology (Nasdaq: CTFO) announced today the completion of a its previously announced merger agreement that has resulted in the company no long being listed on the Nasdaq exchange. In accord with the merger agreement, TransCloud Company Limited, a Cayman Islands exempted company with limited liability and indirectly wholly owned by Xia Shudong (Parent), has taken complete ownership of the company through TransCloud Acquisition, Inc., a Nevada corporation and a wholly owned, direct subsidiary of the Parent.
