Update: Ku6, Netease Announce Video Partnership

Shanda Interactive's online video subsidiary Ku6 (Nasdaq: KUTV) has announced that it has partnered with Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) to be the video hosting provider for Netease's microblog business.

Pursuant to the agreement, Ku6 will provide technology support to video-related activities on Netease's microblog platform, including video uploading and sharing. Meanwhile, Netease microblog users will be given access to Ku6 Media video content via embedded Ku6 Media video players.
