56.com, Kdnet Partner on Video Uploading and Storage

56.com, the online video sharing website of Beijing-based social networking site operator Renren (NYSE: RENN), announced a strategic partnership with online forum site Kdnet.net today on areas including video uploading and storage and highly customized video player applets.

Kdnet users can already upload videos to 56.com without having to leave the forum site. Kdnet and 56.com reportedly also intend to work together to bring more 56.com video content to Kdnet's forums, including UGC, micro-movies, and programming produced in-house by 56.com.

Kdnet launched in 2000, and is owned by the Nanfang Media Group.
