MSN China Shifts Ad Focus from PC to Mobile

Sohu IT, 11/08/12

MSN China general manager Liu Zhenyu announced today that following the launch of Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 in China, MSN China will introduce a new advertising model that will see the company shift its focus entirely from PC-oriented services to mobile terminals.

Among MSN China's new advertising services are Ads in Apps (AiA), traditional display ads on MSN China's homepage and in its instant-messaging service, and Bing search ads.

Ms. Liu added that the "News," "Finance," "Travel," "Sports," and other apps pre-loaded on the Windows 8 Start screen feature content provided by MSN China and its partners.
