iQiyi Introduces Mobile Documentary Video App

Chinese internet company Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) online video joint venture, iQiyi, recently released the iQiyi Documentary mobile application, currently available for the iPad. Users can add their favorite programming on the app's homepage to create a personalized viewing queue. The app currently offers over 10,000 licensed videos from numerous content providers including the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and China Central Television's CCTV-10 Lecture Room series.
As of October 2012, mobile platforms accounted for 23% of total iQiyi traffic volume.
