China Telecom to Release Samsung Galaxy Note II

China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) recently announced plans to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note II, and has begun receiving pre-orders. The CDMA2000 EV-DO/GSM dual-mode dual-standby smartphone also supports Wi-Fi and China's indigenous WAPI standard.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II received a network access license from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA) in late September 2012, including the China Telecom version (model number N719).
