China Telecom's 2012 E-payment Transactions to Grow 233% YoY

Gao Hongliang, GM of China Telecom's (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) wholly-owned e-payment subsidiary Tianyi E-Commerce, today disclosed that the company expects total transaction volume to reach RMB 53.6 bln in 2012, up 233% YoY. Total users reached 14 mln, up 879% YoY, while the number of merchant partners exceeded 10,000.
