Chengdu Apple Store to Open on Dec 15

US consumer electronics giant Apple has announced that it will open the first Apple Store in Chengdu, located in China's southwestern Sichuan province, on December 15. The new retail location is situated in Chengdu's Wanxiang shopping complex and will bring the total number of Apple stores in mainland China to 8. A new Apple store in Hong Kong will open on the same day.
